'Israel' murdered 132 journalists in Gaza since October: Media Office
Journalists in Gaza are facing terrible dangers, brought forth by "Israel's" mass indiscriminate bombing of the strip, communication and electricity outages, and supply shortages.
The Government Media Office in Gaza announced that 132 journalists have been targeted and killed by "Israel" since October 7.
Most recently, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that photojournalist Mohammad Yaghi "Aba Teshreen" was martyred on Friday, alongside his wife and daughter, in a massacre carried out by Israeli occupation forces near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza.
Despite constant warnings by Palestinian and international media against the Israeli targeting of journalists in the Gaza Strip and calls for their protection, the occupation neglected all calls and continued deliberately targeting and killing them in an attempt to conceal its genocidal crimes against the people of Palestine.

In early February, UN human rights experts sounded the alarm over soaring numbers of journalists killed in the war on Gaza, denouncing the "deliberate" Israeli strategy of silencing critical reporting.
IOF incites publications against journalists to assassinate them
Earlier this month, the Office said that the Israeli occupation military "occasionally issues inciting publications against various media outlets and Palestinian journalists, attempting to market false narratives as a prelude to assassinating or killing them, as well as justify its crimes and obscure the Palestinian narrative."
It pointed out that "this has been repeated dozens of times since the start of the genocidal war."
According to the statement, the Israeli occupation publishes photos and videos of journalists and photographers, as if condemning them, but it "selectively extracts them from reports they have prepared and previously broadcasted on television channels and through social media, as part of their daily field journalistic work."
"We have issued previous statements and declarations, clarifying that the occupation engages in incitement against various Palestinian sectors and employees in diverse fields," the Office noted.
