The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced on Friday a new series of military operations against Israeli sites and soldiers "in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to the Israeli attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe houses."

Hezbollah's operations came as follows:

At 11:10 am local time, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the Israeli Jal al-Allam site with artillery shells and hit it directly.

Later, Hezbollah's fighters shelled the main base of the Northern Command's air defense missile system in Berea Barracks with a barrage of Katyusha rockets. The Resistance said the operation was in response to the Israeli assaults on southern Lebanese villages.

As part of the same response, the Lebanese Resistance group shelled the 631st reconnaissance battalion of the Golani Brigade at the Ramot Naftali base with a barrage of Katyusha rockets.

At 2:00 pm, Hezbollah bombed the Zar'it Barracks with rocket weapons and hit it directly.

The Islamic Resistance also bombed the command headquarters of the Sahel Battalion at the Beit Hillel barracks with a salvo of Katyusha rockets. It also shelled the headquarters of the air and missile defense in Keila Barracks also with barrages of Katyushas.

Hezbollah shelled the position of the 300th Brigade of the 146th Division at the Adamit base with barrages of Katyusha rockets.

Moreover, the Resistance shelled the headquarters of the Golan 210th Division in Nafah with volleys of Katyushas.

In addition, Hezbollah fighters bombarded the newly established headquarters of the Galilee Division in the Ayelet HaShahar settlement also with salvos of Katyusha rockets.

Elsewhere, Hezbollah also targeted the al-Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Chouba Hills and the Zebdine barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with rocket artillery and hit them directly.

Israeli military imposes restrictions in anticipation of Hezbollah response

Simultaneously with Hezbollah's operations, the Israeli Education Ministry announced that schools in the north will hold classes on Sunday only if there are sufficient protected areas for students and staff to take shelter, otherwise, classes will be conducted remotely.

The Ministry also noted that shuttle services to and from schools will operate as usual, however, trips and other sponsored activities outside school grounds will be canceled.

On his part, Israeli occupation military spokesperson Daniel Hagari also announced that the Home Front Command is implementing new restrictions for settlers in the Haifa area and to the north.

Hagari emphasized that educational institutions and workplaces may operate only if adequate shelters are readily accessible.

Additionally, restrictions have been placed on gatherings in the same region, limiting outdoor assemblies to 30 people and indoor gatherings to 300.

The beaches in Haifa, Akka, Nahariya, and Lake Tabarayya, as well as the airspace in the region between southern Haifa and the northern border, will remain closed until next Tuesday.

These changes coincide with the Israeli occupation military announcing widespread airstrikes on alleged Hezbollah positions and rocket launchers in southern Lebanon on Saturday evening.

Israeli warplanes struck the following areas:

  • The outskirts of al-Baysarieh, al-Qotrani, al-Jebbayn, Chihine, Tayr Harfa, and Yatar.
  • The area between Zawtar and Deir Seryan, the valley between Ansar and al-Zrariyeh, the valley between Deir al-Zahrani and Roumine, and the valley extending between the towns of Kafra, Deir Aames, and Haris.
  • The valleys of Tefahta, al-Nmairiyeh, Zibqin, Kfar Melki, and Jaffal-Froun.
  • The heights of al-Jabbour, al-Rihan, Jbaa, and Bouslaiya, as well as the heights and valleys of al-Aaichiyeh.
  • The course of the al-Tasa Spring and the Litani River near al-Khardali and Blat.
  • Kawnin, Ainatha, Mays al-Jabal, Alma al-Shaab, and al-Jarmaq region.
  • Hills of Libbaya-Sohmor.

In a renewed series of attacks, Israeli occupation forces conducted more than 70 airstrikes on several towns in South #Lebanon and Western Bekaa.

Hagari claimed that the strikes were prompted by military intelligence regarding Hezbollah's preparations to launch rockets toward "Israel". He claimed that more than 400 Hezbollah rocket launchers have been targeted today.

He also noted that further adjustments to the Home Front Command guidelines may occur based on ongoing developments, warning that rockets could be fired at "Israel" in the coming hours.
