The Israeli occupation launched an airstrike targeting the area between al-Laylaki and Mrayjeh in Beirut's Southern Suburb on Sunday morning, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

This follows the 30 air raids the occupation launched on the Southern Suburb of Beirut throughout the night.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, some airstrikes deliberately targeted a gas station and medical equipment warehouses. As a result, massive explosions were seen and felt as flames erupted amid the impact.

Due to the intensity and close proximity of the raids, the eastern quarter of the airport suffered a temporary electricity blackout. The main road leading to the only airport in the country was also bombarded.

The Southern Suburb has been under relentless Israeli aggression, with residential areas and critical medical resources increasingly coming under fire in one of the most intense nights the capital's suburbs have witnessed since the aggression on Lebanon began.

Northern Gaza comes under heavy fire

Meanwhile, as the one-year mark of "Israel's" ongoing genocidal war on Gaza approaches, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation forces launched over 60 raids in northern Gaza within a matter of hours.

The indiscriminate Israeli bombing spree has killed and wounded dozens of Palestinians, with children left orphaned or mutilated, and families shattered. Palestinian media reported over 30 martyrs, around 150 wounded, and dozens missing due to the Israeli occupation's raids on the northern Gaza Strip.

Furthermore in Gaza, reports indicate that 26 people were killed when an Israeli occupation airstrike targeted a mosque sheltering forcibly displaced Palestinians near al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah. This is yet another massacre to be added to the list of massacres that "Israel" has committed in Palestine.

The Civil Defense in #Gaza has announced that its teams are unable to handle the overwhelming number of residential homes hit by Israeli airstrikes overnight.
