Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Wednesday that "the Israeli regime's attempts to divert the course of diplomacy have become completely clear," adding that "the use of various methods by this regime to obstruct diplomatic efforts is no longer hidden from anyone."
In a post on X, Araghchi confirmed that "our intelligence and security services are on full alert to counter any acts of sabotage or assassinations that may be carried out to provoke us into a legitimate response."
He also anticipated that "those accustomed to misleading public opinion" might once again spread false claims, noting that "they might even accompany them with frightening satellite images."
The Iranian minister stressed that "there is one truth, which is that every milligram of enriched uranium in Iran is under full and continuous supervision by the International Atomic Energy Agency."
2025 to be a golden year for Iran-China relations
Following an extensive meeting with his Chinese counterpart in Beijing, which he described as "highly significant," Araghchi revealed that "we discussed almost all issues related to bilateral relations, as well as international matters," confirming that a "very good understanding was reached regarding the Iranian nuclear file and the ongoing negotiations."
He added, "I discussed with the Chinese foreign minister US policies, its arrogant behavior, and its dominance on the international stage," continuing, "the discussion was extremely fruitful in this regard."
Araghchi also announced that "Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will soon visit China," highlighting that "the year 2025 will be a golden year in relations between Iran and China."
He stated that "it is natural for China to be a friendly country to us, and it has played an important and positive role in previous negotiations, being active in resolving many issues," noting, "we are confident that this will continue in the future as well."
Araghchi affirms strategic partnership with China
Araghchi met with China's First Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang in Beijing to reaffirm the long-standing Iran-China strategic partnership and discuss accelerating the implementation of their 25-year cooperation roadmap, Iran's Mehr news agency reported.
Araghchi, visiting Beijing at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, held talks with Ding on Wednesday. Both sides reviewed ongoing cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and explored ways to boost bilateral initiatives under the 25-year comprehensive cooperation program.
During the meeting, Araghchi described China as a strategic and trustworthy partner, stressing the importance of enhancing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation. He highlighted frameworks such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS as key platforms for expanding ties.

Iran-China dialogue on sanctions and nuclear negotiations
The Iranian Foreign Minister briefed Chinese officials on the ongoing indirect sanctions and nuclear talks with the United States, reiterating Iran’s willingness to pursue diplomacy with seriousness.
He appreciated China's consistent support for Iran’s civilian nuclear program.
Araghchi highlighted that “China and Russia are two strategic partners and close friends of ours who stood by us in times of difficulty," adding that “it is natural that we have continuous and permanent consultations with them in various fields, especially now that there are indirect talks with the United States.”
