Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan affirmed that the Israeli occupation's stance and responses to mediators are still negative and obstructing the advancement toward a breakthrough solution.
Hamdan said that Benjamin Netanyahu's government "still adopts an intransigent stance toward the demands of the resistance, and its goals clash with all the initiatives proposed."
He ascertained that Netanyahu does not care about the release of Israeli captives, and rejected four different demands, the first being stopping the aggression of Gaza. It is noteworthy that the release of Israeli captives has been conditioned with the cessation of all attacks on Gaza, a condition the occupation is well aware of.

Hamas politburo member Hamdan reiterated the call for urgent action, to challenge the occupation's measures, and to bring relief and food aid into Gaza, by land, sea, and air, and called on all countries that are sending relief shipments to Gaza through occupied territories to stop them immediately.
The official of the Hamas movement called on all international institutions, including UNRWA, not to submit to the pressure of the occupation and to return to work in the northern Gaza Strip, expressing his surprise at the decision of the World Food Program to suspend the delivery of food aid in Gaza.
Hamdan pointed out that the deliberate crime of starvation threatens more than 10,000 Palestinians with death, noting that “the alarm bell has sounded regarding the suffering of our people in the northern Gaza Strip.”
On Israeli prevention of entrance to the Al-Aqsa Mosque
Regarding the Israeli decision to prevent entry to Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, Hamdan called for “mobilization in defense of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque,” ​​saying that “hesitation in defending Al-Aqsa will only be an indication of the inability to be able or take the initiative to defend the nation, its land, and its sanctities.” ".
Hamdan added that the occupation’s attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque “will not pass without accountability, whatever the costs,” calling on the Palestinian people in occupied al-Quds and the West Bank to “reject the criminal decision against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and escalate the confrontation with the occupation everywhere.”
He stressed that the steps led by the Israeli Minister of Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, and the group of extremists in the occupation government, "pave the way for a widespread aggression against Al-Aqsa and its worshipers."

Regarding the UN report on the occupation’s forces abusing Palestinian women, the official of the Hamas movement called for a comprehensive and rapid international investigation into these serious crimes.
Hamdan expressed his appreciation for the positions of Brazilian President Lula da Silva, who stressed that what is happening in Gaza is genocide and condemned the "Zionist campaign against it,” praising the positions of Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, and Colombia in support of the position of the Brazilian president.
The Hamas official expressed appreciation for the position expressed by China regarding its confirmation of the legality of the occupied peoples’ pursuit of self-determination through various means.
Resistance marks the end of Netanyahu’s dream
Hamdan confirmed in an interview with Al Mayadeen on Wednesday that "the resistance has shattered the dreams of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who remains delusional about implementing the ideological Zionist project."
He stated, “The American administration has never been a mediator or neutral but has always been a partner of Israel, and one of the most important outcomes of the Al-Aqsa flood is that it stopped the US administration’s plans to shape the region and its future according to the interests of Washington and the occupation.”
Hamdan stressed that "The responsibility lies with the Americans and the Israelis," emphasizing that if they persist in perpetrating genocide, "we have no option but to continue our defense." He stressed the rejection of ongoing aggression, blockade, and starvation, advocating that addressing these issues should serve as the starting point for any resolution of the situation.
