15 Israeli settlers killed by Resistance gunfire in Askalan
The Jerusalem Post says Palestinian Resistance fighters were able to cross into an area between Route 4 and "Mafkim", south of Askalan, near the Gaza Strip.
Israeli media reported on Sunday that 15 Israeli settlers were killed by Palestinian Resistance fighters' gunfire in the occupied city of Askalan.
The Jerusalem Post indicated that Palestinian Resistance fighters were able to cross into an area between Route 4 and "Mafkim", south of Askalan, near the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, al-Qassam Brigades confirmed in a statement that five speedboats carrying naval commandos fighters from Gaza landed in occupied territories during the first stages of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on Saturday.
The statement said the special forces were able to execute a beach landing to the south of Askalan, taking control of several areas.
The fighters were able to engage and confront targets costing the enemy severe casualties, as several of these fighters continued to fight occupation forces after more than 30 hours since the operation was launched, the statement read.
The statement comes after the Israeli occupation forces released footage of the Naval Force allegedly targeting speedboats carrying fighters on Saturday.
The footage was accompanied by a short statement claiming that the occupation's Navy had targeted four vessels near Gaza in the early morning, however, the IOF failed to state if it was able to thwart the Resistance's advance through Palestinian waters.
Al-Qassam's statement reveals stark details regarding the Palestinian Resistance's ability to advance through enemy lines, on land, in the air, and in the sea.
Abu Obeida: Our fighters heroically confront IOF
Earlier in the day, Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson of al-Qassam Brigades, said the Brigades' fighters continue to fiercely and heroically confront Israeli occupation forces on several fronts, dealing casualties among enemy lines.
He also confirmed that al-Qassam Brigades' leadership was able to replace some of its forces in the occupied Palestinian territories, adding that the Resistance successfully executed several infiltration operations in the past few hours.
Moreover, a previous statement released by the Brigades revealed that its fighters continue to confront Israeli occupation forces in Envelope settlements, the Resistance group stated.
Fighters of the Brigades are engaged in "fierce confrontation in several sites" including "Ofakim", "Sderot", "Yad Mordechai", "Kafar Azza", "Be'eri", "Yated", and "Kissufim".

The statement revealed that its artillery detachments are supporting the fighters with cover fire, as they utilize artillery rockets to this end.
In another statement, Hamas' military wing said it was able to reinforce and provide supplies to the fighters on several fronts overnight and in the early morning, which encompassed the "Sufa" military site and kibbutz, as well as "Yated" and "Holit".
On its part, Israeli media said that the number of Israelis killed by Palestinian Resistance fighters as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has risen to 600 and the wounded to 2,000.
The media also said that unofficial estimates indicated that about 750 Israelis are still missing.

Operation Al-Aqsa Flood
The Israeli occupation woke up at dawn Saturday to a sudden and widespread attack launched by the Palestinian Resistance into Gaza Envelope settlements, successfully taking Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers captive while causing hundreds of fatalities among them, under an Operation dubbed Al-Aqsa Flood, in a huge intelligence flop.
Hours after the start of the operation, Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed in a recorded statement that "Israel" is "at war", adding that Hamas initiated "a surprise attack."
On its part, the Israeli occupation launched a new aggression against the Gaza Strip, conducting extensive air raids against residential buildings in the Strip that claimed the lives of 313 Palestinians so far, including 20 children.
