US warplanes launched airstrikes on Kamaran Island in the Red Sea, westernmost Yemen, according to reports from Al Mayadeen's correspondent on Monday.
Our correspondent also reported warplane sounds over the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
In turn, the Health Ministry in Yemen announced that 15 civilians were killed in US airstrikes on the Sanaa and Hajjah governorates, as well as the capital.
Two people were killed, while a child was injured, in the US targeting of a Hilux vehicle in the al-Tour area, located in the Bani Qais district in the Hajjah Governorate, the ministry detailed.
The ministry further reiterated its condemnation of the continued crimes committed by the American enemy, targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
It affirmed that these actions constitute a full-fledged war crime and a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions, holding Washington, the international community, and international organizations responsible for the deliberate targeting of civilian facilities and citizens.
One killed, 5 injured in Sarf
On Sunday, a US airstrike north of the Yemeni capital Sanaa has left one civilian dead and five others injured, the spokesperson for the Health Ministry said.
In a statement published on social media Sunday, ministry official Anis al-Asbahi confirmed the casualties.
Overnight, strikes were renewed on the capital, targeting the Sarf area in the Bani Hashish District, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
The strike is part of a growing US military campaign targeting northern and central Yemen—areas under the control of Sanaa forces.
This campaign, initiated on March 15 under orders from President Donald Trump, came in response to renewed Yemeni operations on Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. Ansar Allah had framed these operations as a direct response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
