Iran's Navy Commander: The "Dena" destroyer will improve the naval forces' capabilities

The presence of key naval fleets of the Iranian Army in international seas maintains the security of sea lines and protects Iran's interests, according to Iran Army Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi. It is also a display of the country's strength and pride in international arenas.

Additionally, Commander of the Iran Army Navy, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, stated during a visit to the force's southern bases that the homegrown 'Dena' Destroyer, manufactured by expert domestic engineers, will soon join the Third Naval Zone of the Iranian Army Navy, stationed in Konarak, to increase the capacity of Iran's Army Naval fleet.

On July 14, the former Iranian President Hasan Rouhani stated that the “Dena” destroyer is equipped with a variety of defense and offensive systems, is intended to navigate great distances in the oceans, and is capable of detecting, tracking, and striking different aerial, surface, and underwater targets.

It is worth noting that the destroyer contains a system with unique features, such as four upgraded diesel engines and a new installation capacity, which provides it with the necessary power and speed, and allowing it to cruise for extended periods of time.

During his visit to the Jask control and command center and Mirsad missile station today, Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard issued a statement. He stated that the Iran Air Defense Force detects even the smallest enemy activity around the clock, emphasizing that any breach of Iran's airspace will be met with a "crushing response" by the Iran Air Defense Force (ADF).

On Sunday, Tehran reiterated their denial of the statements of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security, who claimed that all available information plainly pointed to Iran's involvement in the attack on the Israeli vessel off the coast of Oman.
