The Kabul Assembly committee stated today that the Taliban Forces will be in charge of security and stability in the city.

A statement was read by a spokesperson for the Taliban movement on Afghanistan TV, which is controlled by the Taliban, saying that all government personnel must return to their departments, that the situation is now ordinary and the war is over.

The spokesperson urged Kabul citizens to be calm and peaceful to live safely, emphasizing that the new authority will be responsible for the security of embassies and all diplomatic missions.

He went on to explain that states can continue their normal operations in Afghanistan and that they have total freedom to do so.

Commercial flights at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul were suspended earlier today “until further notice” to allow civil aviation to transport departing passengers.

Furthermore, according to local media, the airport administration has temporarily suspended commercial flights due to the turmoil and crowding caused by travelers' desire to flee the country.

According to a statement posted on the Taliban's official website, the Taliban movement ordered its soldiers to enter Kabul neighborhoods yesterday. Furthermore, this operation was carried out, according to the statement, to prevent looting and violence in areas where the police and security forces had left.
