Mourning two of its fighters, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced four operations, in which Israeli positions were targeted on Monday.

Kicking off with the usual introductory sentence, Hezbollah announced, "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance," Hezbollah fighters attacked at 10:35 am (local time) Israeli occupation soldiers positioned in the vicinity of the "Mattat" Barracks.

Later in the afternoon, the Lebanese Resistance faction targeted an Israeli base located near Moshav "Beit Hillel" in the center of al-Jalil Panhandle, confirming direct hits.

Simoultensouly, the Resistance launched a rocket attack on Israeli positions in the "Misgav Am" kibbutz, opposite the Lebanese town of Odeisseh. The Resistance said its fighters carried out its operation in response to "Israel's" targeting of civilians in Lebanese territories.

Soon after, the Resistance accurately targeted a grouping of occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Birket Risha military site.

Concurrently the Resistance mourned two of its fighters who were martyred on the path to al-Quds. Wissam Khalil Hammoud, "Alaa", and martyr Abbas Hassan Hazimeh, "Haidar", joined the more than a hundred Hezbollah fighters who offered their lives for the sake of Palestine.

Hezbollah forces lockdown on northern settlers

The attacks follow a statement released by the "Kiryat Shmona" municipality in which it announced the complete closure of several settlements alongside the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

The municipality's spokesperson told settlers that all entrances toward "Kiryat Shmona" will be closed for the entry of vehicles on Monday, December 25, until further notice.

The spokesperson said the decision comes in light of a recent security assessment "that had just been completed."

The Israeli official said the decision will also encompass settlers in "Snir", "Dan", "Dafna", "Maayan Baruch", "Kfar Yuval", "Kfar Giladi", "Gosherim", "Beit Hillel", and "Metulla" in the occupied al-Jalil Panhandle. Moreover, kibbutzim and moshavs across from the coast of northern occupied Palestine to the furthermost settlement in al-Jalil have also been closed off to Israeli settlers.

This includes, "Margaliot", "Menara", "Yiftah", "Ramot Naftali", "Dishon", and "Avivim", among other settlements and areas.

"Please do not go to these places," the statement concluded.
