G7 Calls for Tunisia's 'Swift Return to a Constitutional Order'
The G7 stressed the need for “inclusive dialogue about proposed constitutional and electoral reforms”.
Ambassadors from the G7 nations in Tunisia are mounting pressure on Tunisian President Kais Saied to "appoint a new prime minister, and to make “a swift return to a constitutional order, in which an elected parliament plays a significant role".
In a statement, the G7 also stressed the need for “inclusive dialogue about proposed constitutional and electoral reforms”.
More than six weeks after the dismissal of the prime minister, the position is still vacant.
