AIPAC pushing lies that forced starvation in Gaza 'false'
AIPAC is planning to head to Capitol Hill where they will argue that starvation in Gaza is a trap set out by Hamas.
This week, Washington's main "Israel" lobby is urging supporters to go to Capitol Hill and falsely assert to legislators that Palestinians are not starving in Gaza and that "Israel" isn't preventing relief shipments, according to talking points uncovered by the American Prospect.
Despite mounting demonstrations and public outrage, the strong lobbying group American Israel Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, is seeking to retain support for "Israel's" war on Gaza. This week, AIPAC held its annual policy conference in Maryland, where it mobilized its funders and followers to act as a grassroots lobbying army in Congress.
The Prospect received a copy of AIPAC's talking notes for supporters headed to Capitol Hill, and they are, to put it mildly, extremist. According to the notes, supporters are instructed to state that "reports that people are starving in Gaza are false," and that "Israel is not blocking the delivery of aid to Gaza."
Meanwhile, "Israel" not only has blocked aid from entering the Strip but blatantly targeted a gathering of starved Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid packages on Thursday at the Kuwait Roundabout in southern Gaza, Al Mayadeen's correspondent had reported.
The death toll has risen to over 100 martyrs, with 200 others injured. The Gaza Ministry of Health emphasized that the Kuwait roundabout massacre was further proof of the Israeli occupation's intentions to commit more horrendous crimes, and added that the number of martyrs is expected to increase as more casualties, in dire condition, arrived at the different hospitals in Gaza.
According to the extremist and clearly deluded "Israel" lobby, Gazans nearing famine is a "trap" set out by Hamas, the Palestinian resistance, which wants the US to believe it is, so as to exert pressure on the occupation, and warned that the US should not fall into this trap.

Meanwhile, the European Union's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, described the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as "manmade", and accused "Israel" of using starvation and hunger as a "war arm."
In a statement at UN headquarters in New York, Borrell said, "This humanitarian crisis... is not a natural disaster, is not a flood, is not an earthquake, it is manmade."
Gazans are experiencing unprecedented hunger. According to the United Nations, 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza—nearly the entire population—are experiencing "crisis or worse levels of food insecurity." Half a million people suffer "catastrophic" levels of food insecurity.
Not only are Palestinians being bombed by the IOF, but numerous Gazans have been martyred as a result of malnutrition and dehydration.
According to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), a prominent food security study and advocacy organization, the Gaza Strip is in Phase 4 "Emergency" food insecurity, with a significant danger of impending famine.
AIPAC has US govt in 'chokehold': Ex-congressional staffer
According to Rodney Martin, a former US legislative staffer, the strong American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and other pro-"Israel" lobby groups in the United States have successfully choked the US government.
Martin, who is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, made the statements in an exclusive interview for PressTV on Wednesday, while remarking on Washington's stance of sending weaponry to "Israel" in its murderous campaign against Gaza.
Martin detailed how the US "flooding" the occupation with weapons was far from new, noting that AIPAC and other Zionist groups have "successfully placed a chokehold on the United States’ government, primarily historically on the Congress."
He noted the growing dissent within the Democratic Party regarding the war on Gaza and called it a "very positive development."
Martin detailed that the Republican Party was “dominated by rabid, racist Zionists" and expressed his belief that Donald Trump may "put an end" to the current predicament in some way, noting that he has not been happy with the Israeli Prime Minister recently.
