US NSC advisor: We can't go against 'Israel' until reelection
Despite pressure from the progressive wing of his party to condemn"Israel's" atrocities in Gaza, Biden is wary of the backlash from influential Jewish constituents and political ramifications, as per a White House aide.
President Biden is feeling the heat from the progressive wing of his party to denounce "Israel's" actions in Gaza more forcefully, however, there's a reluctance to do so due to concerns about significant "Jewish influence" and political calculations, according to US National Security Council policy advisor Sterlin Waters speaking to an undercover reporter from Project Veritas.
“If Biden won again he could be much more forthright about saying ‘No’ (to Israel),” Waters said.
The aide reportedly emphasized the need for the administration to address Israeli officials directly about the consequences of their actions to satisfy progressive constituents.

NSC Policy Advisor reveals @JoeBiden may be holding back on 'serious consequences' for Israel.
“That is a second term decision….not a first term... We'll lose [the election].pic.twitter.com/d4TB25iF4j
Elsewhere in his remarks, Waters suggested that Biden and his senior advisors should communicate to Israeli officials that “you’re not going to continue to lie, and bomb, and kill all these kids without facing serious consequences” to appease or satisfy progressive voters.
Waters warned that taking such action would upset “huge, powerful Jewish influence in Republican and Democrat politics," potentially leading to a damaging smear campaign against Biden before the upcoming November presidential election.
“If Biden won again he could be much more forthright about saying ‘No’,” Waters stressed. “[But] that is a second-term decision.”
“There’s a huge, powerful Jewish influence in Republican and Democrat politics and the administration is definitely facing a conundrum of … you know, siding or like, being as active as some of the more progressive democratic liberal factions … and losing the next administration because of that,” he further stressed.
“To really point out that Israel has so much more power in this situation… there’s the media and powerful people who can twist that to say, ‘Oh, we’ve been ostracized for so long, and now even the U.S… is against us.’ To play like, a martyr. We would lose [the election],” he emphasized.
He continued by explaining that such a decision is usually reserved for a second term rather than a first one. Waters predicted that Biden would lose sufficient support, resulting in an inability to secure the 270 electoral votes required.
Currently, Biden is firmly backing "Israel" in its ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
'Outrageous,' Biden calls ICC warrants against Israeli officials
US President Joe Biden on Monday strongly criticized the International Criminal Court's move to seek arrest warrants for Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, labeling it "outrageous".
Biden cited an alleged absence of equivalence between "Israel" and Hamas as he affirmed unwavering support for "Israel's" security.
"And let me be clear: whatever this prosecutor might imply, there is no equivalence - none - between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security." Biden said in a statement.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken echoed similar sentiments by questioning the court's jurisdiction and its process in applying for the warrants.
ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan's announcement of arrest warrants for Netanyahu, his Security chief, and three Hamas officials followed over seven months of genocide in Gaza. Khan listed those crimes under articles 7 and 8 of the Rome Statute, some of which are "starvation of civilians as a method of warfare," wilfully causing great suffering or serious injury to body or health, willful killing or murder as a war crime, "intentionally directing attacks against a civilian population" and "persecution as a crime against humanity."
