The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, a Palestinian Resistance group, announced, on Sunday, that they have successfully managed to repel the extensive and large-scale incursion carried out by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the Far'a refugee camp in Tubas, northeast of the West Bank.

In detail, the group's statement mentioned that the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades bravely and skillfully confronted this extensive and large-scale aggression by detonating a large number of explosive devices targeting occupation vehicles on various fronts, in addition to engaging in close-range confrontations.

Intense confrontations on Saturday

Yesterday, on Saturday, Palestinian journalist Firas Tannina, based in Ramallah, reported intense confrontations between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in the al-Far'a refugee camp.

Tannina, speaking to Al Mayadeen, affirmed that daily raids are taking place in various cities across the West Bank.

With the escalation of confrontations between the Palestinian Resistance and the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, it is noteworthy that the Israeli media has reported the Israeli military's warning that "the West Bank is on the verge of exploding."

Israeli raids and detentions in the cities and camps of the West Bank have been ongoing since October 7 as part of a continuous Israeli aggression, which coincides with the occupation's relentless assault on the Gaza Strip.

5800+ Palestinians detained in West Bank since October 7

Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 15 Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank, in occupied Palestine. The IOF carried out this detention campaign after they began their raid late Friday night and only withdrew Saturday morning, as confirmed in a statement by the Commission of Detainees' Affairs and the Palestine Prisoners Society.

The detention campaign focused on Beit Lahm Governorate, with the remaining detentions taking place across the governorates of Jenin and al-Khalil.

Among those detained were family members of the Resistance fighters who were martyred after they carried out the operation in al-Khalil earlier on Friday.

The statement, moreover, stressed that including those detained between Friday evening and Saturday morning, a total of 5,835 Palestinians have been detained since the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.

In the West Bank and occupied al-Quds, detained Palestinians included those who are taken from homes and military checkpoints, those who surrender under pressure, and those used by the occupation as human shields before they get dragged to detention centres.
