Al Mayadeen's correspondent said Wednesday that Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons are completing their preparations for the mass hunger strike that will begin on the 25th of March.

Our correspondent reported mobilization in prisons in parallel with support from Palestinians outside Israeli prisons.

She also reported about the massive deployment of occupation forces in all occupied areas, in fear of reactions to arresting Palestinian civilians.

In the same context, our correspondent pointed out that this battle brings together all the prisoners together against the occupation's violations in prisons.

For his part, a member of the Political Bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Kayed Al-Ghoul, confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the occupation realizes that the success of the prisoners will lead to setbacks in the street.

Al-Ghoul revealed that the Israeli Prisons Authority is hinting that some prisoners' demands can be met.

He emphasized that effort must be unified to support the prisoners at the official and popular levels, stressing that the prisoners' cause must remain part of a comprehensive struggle program.

In an interview for Al Mayadeen, the head of the Palestinian Prisoners Club, Qadura Fares, confirmed that the Palestinian prisoners in occupation prisons have decided to fight a battle through an open hunger strike to extract their rights in rejection of the Israeli occupation policies carried out against them.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club also announced that the prisoners are preparing for their largest battle since 2004 to extract their rights.

The mass hunger strike is scheduled to begin on 25 March, with 4,400 detainees in Israeli occupation prisons demanding their rights to be restored to the pre-Freedom Tunnel status.
