Al-Qassam fighters snipe Israeli soldier in Shujaiya as ops. intensify

The Palestinian Resistance in Gaza continues carrying out destructive operations targeting Israeli assets as the battle in Gaza rages on.

The al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, confirmed that its Resistance fighters sniped an Israeli occupation soldier positioned atop a Merkava tank near al-Nasira School on Baghdad Street, east of al-Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City. The operation took place on July 11, 2025.
In a separate operation, the al-Qassam Brigades, in coordination with the al-Quds Brigades, reported targeting three Israeli Merkava tanks using two Shawaz and Thaqeb explosive devices, in addition to a Tandem charge. The operation was carried out near Al-Ridwan Mosque in Shujaiya on July 7, 2025.
Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades announced that they had shelled an Israeli command and control center located in al-Muhandis Hall in the al-Satr al-Gharbi area, north of Khan Younis, using mortar shells.
Gaza Envelope settlements under fire
The al-Quds Brigades also released footage showing their rocket force targeting the Sderot, Mefalsim, and Nir Am settlements surrounding Gaza with a salvo of rockets. On Thursday, the Brigades announced that it had launched a series of rocket attacks targeting the settlements. A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation forces confirmed the launch, noting that sirens were activated.

In the video, Resistance fighters dedicate the launch to martyr Saeed Izadi, the commander of the Palestine Corps of the IRGC's Quds Force, who was killed in a treacherous Israeli assassination during the war on Iran.
In a separate statement, the al-Quds Brigades confirmed that they had destroyed an Israeli military vehicle using a Barq shock-charge on Saturday afternoon in the Ma'an area, southeast of Khan Younis.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades released footage of their fighters shelling a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles advancing in eastern Jabalia town, northern Gaza Strip. The shelling was carried out using standard 60mm mortar rounds, as part of a joint operation with other Resistance factions.

The al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades also confirmed their forces had targeted Israeli troops and vehicles stationed around Street 5, north of Khan Younis, with mortar shells earlier today.
These operations come as clashes continue across several axes in the Gaza Strip. Resistance factions persist in announcing successful strikes against Israeli forces, despite ongoing aerial bombardments and intensified ground incursion attempts.
