The Resistance thwarted future large-scale IOF military campaigns in the West Bank by taking decisive action and ambushing armored vehicles with "explosive devices used for the first time" in the West Bank, the head of the media office of the Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ), Daoud Shehab, told Al Mayadeen.
The official added that the events that took place in Jenin unarguably shocked the occupation.

Shehab also pointed to the futility of regional summits and security meetings that aimed to "end the Resistance," as he indicated that the "enemy has been unable to suppress the Resistance in the West Bank."
He also stressed that the Israeli forces "failed to achieve any of their objectives today in the Jenin camp."

The PIJ official affirmed that the detonation of an explosive device targeting an Israeli armored vehicle attempting to invade the Jenin camp did not come as a surprise "to the resistance leadership, as we were prepared for this moment."

Unity of the battlefields: An active process
Shehab added that the PIJ has dedicated a significant portion of its capabilities "to support the Resistance in the West Bank," emphasizing that it will continue to work on advancing its capabilities in the West Bank and all other areas in which it can confront the occupation.
He also touched on the peculiarity of the situation in the West Bank, explaining that it is the most affected by the occupation's mobilization, as he pointed to the dwindling lifespan of the occupation entity which "diminishes with every blow it receives in the West Bank."

Shehab addressed the Israeli occupiers, calling on them to "expect a new blow to their army and security forces" in every battlefield.
The media official directed a message through Al Mayadeen to what he called the "mediators of the occupation," saying that calm will not last long if the occupation decides to carry out an aggression against the West Bank.

He further invoked the experiences of the Resistance in Lebanon against the Israeli occupation, as he affirmed that those events inspire and influence the collective memory of members of the Palestinian Resistance.

The Jenin Al-Quds Brigades' - Jenin Brigade issued a military statement today, Monday, regarding the Israeli occupation's invasion of the city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank. They revealed that their fighters ambushed the Israelis, resulting in critical injuries among the IOF soldiers.
They also mourned the five martyrs who fell during today's battle, revealing that several brigades and groups supported the Jenin Brigade in their confrontation, and confirming that at the forefront of these groups were the Jabaa Brigade and the Tulkarm Brigade affiliated with the Al-Quds Brigades.
