Amir-Abdollahian in Moscow for bilateral talks

During a discussion with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the events in the Caucasus region, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian confirmed that Iran will coordinate its stances with Russia.
Following his arrival on Tuesday, Amir-Abdollahian expressed that Iran anticipates Russia will demonstrate the required responsiveness and sensitivity towards the presence of Zionists and terrorists in the region.
The Foreign Minister divulged that consistent talks are taking place between the two nations on numerous topics, through diplomatic channels and telephone calls, in addition to phone conversations taking place between both nations' Presidents.
Amir-Abdollahian stressed that serious negotiations and bilateral talks will take place between the two parties during his visit, noting that regional policies between Tehran and Moscow have been very close in recent years in hopes of improving security in the region.
According to a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the two ministers will pay special attention to the situation surrounding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program.
