Ansar Allah refute Washington claims of intercepting Yemeni missiles
This comes after a Pentagon spokesperson stated that a drone launched from Yemen, heading towards the USS Thomas Hudner warship, was intercepted.
Member of the Supreme Political Council of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, denied the claims of the United States and other countries about intercepting missiles and drones sent from Yemen, saying that their drones and missiles have reached their targets "in support of Gaza and the oppressed people of Palestine", in post on X.
Al-Houthi challenged those alleging that they had intercepted Yemeni drones and missiles to provide the footage proving it.
"Show us scenes of the interceptions, as the heroes in Yemen did by filming the MQ-9 drone."

This comes after a Pentagon spokesperson stated that a drone launched from Yemen, heading towards the USS Thomas Hudner warship, was intercepted.
“We’re aware of an incident involving the USS Thomas Hudner successfully defending itself against a UAV while transiting through the Red Sea. We do not have additional details to provide at this time,” the statement said.
According to media reports, the drone was allegedly launched from the territory of Yemen.
Meanwhile, commenting on the same incident, two US officials told Reuters that a US Navy warship shot down a drone from Yemen earlier in the Red Sea.
As the US increases its support for the Israeli aggression on Gaza, Washington has been on the receiving end of Resistance operations on its bases and vessels in the region.
Yemen has launched several attacks against the Israeli occupation, with the first attack being reportedly intercepted by the US and Saudi Arabia, and raising the concerns of some neighboring Arab states, as others made their way to occupied Palestine, striking Israeli military targets.
