Arab, Islamic states, groups, condemn Israeli aggression on Yemen
Hezbollah, Hamas, PFLP, and Iran, condemned "Israel's" recent aggression on Yemen, accusing it of targeting civilian infrastructure with American and British support, while reaffirming solidarity with Yemen and Palestine.
Arab and Islamic countries condemned the massive Israeli aggression on Yemen on Thursday, which occurred while the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, was delivering his speech.
Hezbollah
Hezbollah strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Yemen, which took place "with American-British participation." Hezbollah confirmed that the aggression targeted civilian, economic, and vital facilities, "in blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws."
Hezbollah also considered that the aggression was a result of "the enemy's failure to confront Yemen's military strikes and the resilience of Yemen's position in supporting the Palestinian people's right to their land and freedom." The group emphasized that "the only option in confronting this Israeli enemy and its supporters is more steadfastness and resistance."
Hamas
Similarly, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the terrorist aggression on Yemen, which targeted civilian sites, including Sanaa Airport and Hodeidah Port.
The movement described the attacks as "an extension of the bullying and terrorist policies pursued by the occupying government against our Palestinian people and the peoples of the region, with political and military cover from Washington and some Western capitals."
Hamas also praised "the authentic Yemeni positions expressed by Ansar Allah," affirming that the Israeli and Western aggression on Yemen "will not deter them from their firm decision to provide all forms of support and assistance to our Palestinian people, and to continue striking the Zionist territories until the brutal genocide campaign against our people in Gaza is stopped before the eyes and ears of the world."
PFLP
For its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on the Yemeni people.
The Front stated that "this cowardly aggression came with American-British coordination and support, and with the participation of U.S. naval vessels," considering it "an organized war crime that embodies the true face of Zionist and colonial terrorism targeting the peoples of the region."
Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
For his part, the Iranian foreign ministry's spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, condemned the Israeli aggression on Yemen.
Baghaei said, "This aggression comes with American and British support and involvement, violating all international laws, and follows the United Nations' inaction in the face of ongoing Israeli crimes."
The Iranian spokesperson also viewed the expansion of Israeli attacks in the region, including new countries, as part of "the Israeli plan to weaken Islamic countries," calling for "urgent and decisive international and regional action to prevent its continuation."
