Arab states 'increasingly restricting' US Iran attacks from their soil
The UAE is one of the countries restricting US involvement from its soil.
Several Arab countries are reportedly “increasingly restricting” the United States and its allies from initiating attacks against Iran and Resistance groups in the West Asia region amid the Israeli genocide against Gaza.
Politico, cited an anonymous US official in a report on Wednesday, who revealed that several Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates, put out restrictions on the use of their territories by the United States for the use of its many military bases to launch strikes against Iran and Resistance groups. However, Politico did not reveal exactly who these arab countries are.
The official stated, “Amid a rising civilian death toll in Gaza, several Arab countries, particularly those ‘attempting a detente with Iran,’ are ‘increasingly restricting’ the US and partners from conducting self-defense operations from their soil,” adding, “This includes limits on retaliatory strikes against attacks in Iraq, Syria, and the Red Sea."
The official explained that what is pushing the UAE toward taking such a step is that "they don’t want to appear like they’re against Iran and they don’t want to appear too close to the West and Israel for public opinion reasons,” Politico reported.
Increased US attacks the Middle East
The US occupation forces and their allies have recently increased their attacks and strikes in the West Asia region in support of the Israeli occupation, which launched a war against Gaza on October 7, leaving an increasing death toll currently standing at more than 28,000 Palestinians martyred and more than 68,000 others injured.
The Resistance groups in the region have in response struck back against the US occupation bases, killing at least three soldiers and wounding dozens of others, as per the US admission.
Yemen has also stated repeatedly that it will not hesitate to protect its own people from American-British aggression and stand in solidarity with the Palestinians.
Iran reassured several times that it has no affiliated groups involved in what the US claims to be "proxies" in the region and that Resistance groups in West Asia are independently acting on their own accord with no orders from the Islamic Republic.
The United States, "Israel’s" biggest ally, has continuously provided "Israel" with a group of arms and ammunition since the initiation of the Gaza war and repeatedly vetoed UN Security Council resolutions that urged the occupation to cease its aggression.
