Iran: US, UK, Canada complicit in Gaza genocide
The US, UK and Canada, according to Kanaani, are “not whatsoever” in a position to judge and comment on the human rights in other nations.
After the US, Canada and the UK proposed to impose sanctions on multiple Iranian nationals across the world for alleged "human rights violations", Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani pointed out that the trio must be held responsible for their complicity in the genocide by "Israel" on Gaza.
"Countries that have a black track record of colonial history and systematic abuse of human rights,… with such biased and sham measures, are seeking to divert the world’s public opinion from their anti-human rights actions and their full cooperation with the inhumane crimes of the child-killing Zionist regime," he stated.
He continued to call out their "double-standard" approach, which has done "grave injustice" to the values of human rights that they claim to represent.
The three accomplices, according to Kanaani, are "not whatsoever" in a position to judge and comment on the human rights in other nations.

"The governments of the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, given their historic and continuous support to the Israeli regime and their publicly political, military, intelligence and media support for the regime’s war crimes in Gaza over the past two months, should be held to account as accomplices in the crimes."
International punishment
On Friday, Iran's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Zahra Ershadi, spoke at the 22nd Session of the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute to call on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to hold "Israel" accountable for its atrocities and genocide in Gaza.
"A whole nation that has been subject to oppressive occupation for more than 75 years is on the verge of genocide and extermination," she said, adding, "Every day that passes without accountability, innocent civilians, including children and women, are being killed and slaughtered, with their lands being confiscated and their homes getting destroyed".
In response to 'Israel's' bombardment in the Gaza Strip, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called on the other Caspian Sea region governments on Tuesday to halt energy supplies to the occupation and prohibit imports of commodities from them.

Amir-Abdollahian expressed that the exports should end and goods produced in the occupied territories should be embargoed, calling it the "least we can do in solidarity with the people of the Gaza Strip."
He also urged that the criminals of war in the Israeli occupation forces be punished by international courts.
