Assassination of IRGC leader reflects Israeli frustration: Ansar Allah
The Yemeni party says the assassination is an extension of US and Israeli crimes against the nations of the region.
Yemen’s Ansar Allah Movement condemned on Tuesday the Israeli assassination of Iranian Brigadier General Seyyed Razi Mousavi and affirmed that this crime reflects the state of failure and floundering that the occupation entity is experiencing.
Senior Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Mousavi was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Syria's Damascus on Monday, where he was operating as a military advisor to the country. He exerted exemplary efforts in the fight against ISIS in Syria during his lengthy participation in combatting terrorism throughout the West Asia region.

The party’s political bureau emphasized that the assassination constitutes an extension of "the crimes committed by the Israeli and US enemies against the people of the nation in Palestine, Iraq, Syria, and elsewhere."
"Martyr Mousavi was one of the Resistance figures who offered their lives down the path of confronting the American and Israeli agenda in the region," stressing that "the martyr played a key role in fighting the Takfiri groups in Syria, which are supported by the United States and Israel."
The killing of the top military official was the latest in a series of crimes committed by the occupation entity against commanders battling hegemonic agendas in the region.
Following Mousavi's martyrdom, the IRGC said, "There is no doubt that the Israeli occupation entity will pay the price for this crime."
Meanwhile, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said the assassination of the senior commander was a sign of frustration and weakness from the Israeli occupation, vowing that the entity would "definitely pay a price for its crime."
Earlier in December, Israeli forces launched an air strike that martyred Mohammad Ali Ataei Shoorcheh and Panah Taghizadeh, both of whom are members of the IRGC serving as military advisors in Syria.
The martyrdom of the IRGC leader in Syria comes in light of the ongoing confrontation that the Axis of Resistance has undertaken in the face of the ongoing Israeli brutal war on the Gaza Strip. During this confrontation, tens of Resistance officers and fighters from Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and Iraq have embraced martyrdom on the path to al-Quds.
