IOF admits officer killed by ATGM, Hezbollah conducts 6 operations
The Israeli military has admitted to the death of another Israeli officer, as Hezbollah carries out new attacks against targets in the western sector and Shebaa Farms.
An Israeli occupation officer was killed in a guided missile attack launched by Hezbollah on December 22, after he succumbed to his wounds on Tuesday, the spokesperson for the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) announced.
The Staff Sergeant served under the 199th Amrored Briagde's 71st Battalion and is the second to be announced dead from the same formation, as a result of attacks carried out by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon. On that day, two attacks via anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), targeting groupings of Israeli soldiers and officers in the vicinity of the Israeli-occupied Lebanese town of Tarabikha.
As the Israeli military admitted to its casualties, Hezbollah carried out four operations targeting Israeli positions and sites from South Lebanon.
Hezbollah operations
In support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah fighters launched an attack on the Israeli Zebdine military site, located in occupied Lebanese territories in the Shebaa Farms.
The Lebanese Resistance faction then launched consecutive attacks on Israeli military targets in the western sector at noon, Tuesday. The first targeted Israeli soldiers spread across the vicinity of the Ramiah military site, confirming direct hits to the intended targets.
Nearby, Hezbollah fighters launched an attack on an Israeli reconnaissance unit, positioned in a structure within the "Shomera" Barracks. The Islamic Resistance confirmed that the members of the unit were killed or injured, as a result of accurate hits at the target.
10 minutes past noon, Hezbollah fighters targeted a grouping of Israeli soldiers positioned inside the "Dovev" Barracks with the appropriate weapons.
The Islamic Resistance carried on its operations through Tuesday afternoon, targeting a grouping of Israeli soldiers at al-Raheb military site, confirming casualties among the enemy force at 1:45 PM (local time).
Simultaneously, another group of fighters launched an attack on the headquarters of the Israeli military's 91st Division, in the "Biranit" Barracks.

Israeli jets raid Lebanese towns
In the meantime, Israeli fighter jets raided the outskirts of Meis al-Jabal in South Lebanon, on two occasions, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
Israeli artillery also shelled areas in Sarda and the outskirts of al-Khiam in the western sector, as reported by the National Press Agency.
Resistance factions in Lebanon, headed by Hezbollah, have committed to supporting the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip, launching non-stop attacks on Israeli positions in occupied Palestine and occupied Lebanese territories.
The Resistance attacks have forced Israeli authorities to take exceptional measures, closing off all settlements located 3.5 km past the line of withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces.
The "Kiryat Shmona" municipality announced the complete closure of several settlements alongside the Lebanese-Palestinian border, on Monday morning.
The municipality's spokesperson told settlers that all entrances toward "Kiryat Shmona" will be closed for the entry of vehicles on Monday, December 25, until further notice.
The spokesperson said the decision comes in light of a recent security assessment "that had just been completed," and includes tens of kibbutzim and moshaves.
"Please do not go to these places," the statement concluded.
