The head of the media office in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Dawood Shehab, saluted through Al Mayadeen the martyred leaders of the movement, who were assassinated in the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and addressed the martyrs and their families, saying, “We shall pursue your path, and we vow to preserve your commandments and follow their lead."

Shehab, from the Gaza Strip, confirmed that the Resistance has many options to force the occupation to submit to its demands, pointing out that the Joint Operations Room (JOR) of the Resistance factions is one of the important achievements that followed the right of return rallies.

On his part, Maher Al-Taher, the head of international relations in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine PFLP, said the recent round of fighting confirmed the erosion of the Israeli deterrence force.

Speaking to Al Mayadeen, Al-Taher indicated that the Israeli occupation knows that the Palestinian people are not alone in this battle, highlighting unity on the ground between all the Resistance factions, adding that the Palestinian people are supported by the Axis of Resistance and that the occupation will not be allowed to single out any party.

Al-Taher pointed out that the occupation began targeting civilian homes when it lost its edge with the aim of pressuring the Resistance, explaining that there are no real guarantees that this criminal entity will abide by any of its commitments.

He also clarified that the Zionist entity is aware that the Resistance will continue to develop its capabilities and accumulate experiences and that the Israeli entity is indeed weaker than a spider's web, as previously stated by the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Hamas Spokesperson Abdel Latif Al-Qanou told Al Mayadeen that the Palestinian people are achieving a new victory today on the path of the liberation of Palestine and that the heroic battle fought by the Joint Operations Room ended with the triumph of the Resistance.

Al-Qanou stressed that the JOR had united all the factions and that the Palestinian Resistance had confirmed that it was continuing to accumulate experiences.

He also indicated that the occupation is aware that prolonging the battle will lead to the opening of new fronts, pointing to Sayyed Nasrallah's speech about the battle in Gaza, where Hezbollah's chief confirmed that the Lebanese Resistance party would take necessary measures when it feels it is the need to intervene and support the Gaza factions.

Mohammad Al-Buraim (Abu Mujahid), the director of the Resistance Committees' Media Office in Palestine, revealed that a ceasefire had been reached with the occupation, through Egyptian mediation, which stipulated that the enemy stop targeting civilians, bombing homes, and targeting individuals.

Abu Mujahid saluted the souls of the martyrs of the Palestinian people and their Resistance, foremost among them the senior leaders of Al-Quds Brigades, and he hailed all the wounded and injured and the families whose homes were destroyed as a result of the criminality and aggression of the Israeli occupation.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as of Saturday evening, 33 Palestinians were martyred in the occupation's aggression, including six children and three women, and 147 people were wounded.

An Egyptian-mediated ceasefire between the Palestinian Resistance and the Israeli occupation was reached on Saturday, five days after the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. It went into force at 10:00 pm on the same day.

The ceasefire agreement text stated that Cairo urged the two sides to implement the agreement and is working to follow up on that by communicating with them.

According to the text, the ceasefire between the two sides will be adhered to, and it includes stopping the targeting of civilians and individuals and the demolition of homes.

Sources in the Resistance told Al Mayadeen that the Islamic Jihad Movement had obtained an undeclared Israeli pledge to stop assassinations implicitly implied in the expression of “individuals” in the Egyptian-mediated ceasefire agreement.
