Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo slams "Israel's" inhumane “tactics of starvation” in Gaza as “inadmissible".

In a post on X, the Belgian leader emphasized the immediate need for the Israeli occupation to “provide more humanitarian access to Gaza.”

In the same context, the Belgian Prime Minister has lately criticized "Israel" during a visit to Jordan for employing hunger as a "weapon of war" in the blockaded Gaza Strip in separate comments made to reporters.

“I see today there is a very large population [in Gaza] at risk of famine,” he said. “It’s up to Israel to prove that famine won’t be used as a weapon of war.”

Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation continues its starvation campaign against the Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip, as part of the genocidal war against them.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reported that acute malnutrition among children in the northern Gaza Strip has doubled in just one month as a result of the ongoing aggression.

The people of Gaza are experiencing unprecedented hunger. According to the United Nations, 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza—nearly the entire population—are experiencing "crisis or worse levels of food insecurity." Half a million people suffer "catastrophic" levels of food insecurity.

Not only are Palestinians being bombed by the IOF, but tens of them have been martyred as a result of malnutrition and dehydration.
