Naftali Bennett, Israeli's prime minister, fears an escalation in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

In the context of the recent attacks on the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, Israeli media reported that Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett is attempting to stop the deteriorating situation in the neighborhood, so that the situation does not descend into a greater conflict.

The media depicted Israeli fear of a security escalation on Palestinian land as "real."

Sources revealed to Al Mayadeen that Hamas held talks with the Egyptian side about the recent Israeli attacks in Sheikh Jarrah, informing them that what is happening is a "dangerous escalation that cannot be tolerated," and that the Israeli government is "playing with fire again."

Expulsing Palestinians out of Sheikh Jarrah is a "red line which the resistance knows well how to respond to," as told by Hamas. The Palestinian factions sent affirmations that they will not abandon the Sheikh Jarrah to Israelis.

A Channel 13 commentator on Arab affairs said that the commander of the West Bank division of the Israeli occupation army, Avi Bluth, announced that "forces should prepare for an escalation in the territories on the first of April."

Furthermore, Channel 12 quoted security sources saying that the events in Sheikh Jarrah are an "influential factor that raises the level of preparedness," noting that the "test" will take place next Friday, when Palestinians will perform their Friday prayers in mosques.

A Palestinian affairs commentator jotted down 3 hotspots: The first focus is Sheikh Jarrah, which is currently receiving Palestinian media coverage; the second is the West Bank, where shootings at night in Jenin and Nablus have been taking place; the third focus is Gaza, where threats were echoed.

The commentator said that the Palestinians are not afraid of a second "Seif Al-Quds" operation.

The Israeli forces continue their attacks on the Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. A few days ago, clashes took place between the occupation forces and residents in several areas of the West Bank.
