Cuba's Diaz-Canel calls on world to end genocide in Gaza

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel took to social media to urge the international community to take action and call for the end of the "genocide" in Gaza.
Diaz-Canel shared a photo on X of the Palestinian flag projected onto the Jose Marti Memorial in the capital Havana, writing: "Cuba demands that the genocide stop now."
"As long as Palestinian land continues to be martyred, bled, destroyed to its foundations by the hatred of the Israeli occupier, we cannot tire of denouncing the crime and calling on the international community," he wrote.

Cuba has been a main supporter of Gaza and its people amid the genocide at the hands of "Israel".
'Terrorist state of Israel'
Diaz-Canel previously denounced the "terrorist State of Israel" as it continues to commit atrocities, in the Gaza Strip, which he considered a "humiliation for all humanity".
Back in January, Cuba urged the United Nations' General Assembly to expedite efforts to end the ongoing Israeli genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and condemned the "repeated use of the veto by the US in the UN Security Council, to prevent the end of Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people," stressing "It is urgent to accelerate the efforts of the international community to stop the massacre in Gaza."
On December 20, the Cuban Parliament unanimously approved a declaration of solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning the Israeli occupation's crimes.
#Cuba, que jamás será indiferente ante el crimen, se suma a la jornada mundial de apoyo al pueblo palestino y exige que se ponga fin al genocidio israelí en #Gaza.
