The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today that since October 7 the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation forces(IOF) has risen to 33,207 and those injured to 75,933.

In 24 hours, 32 murdered and 47 injured Palestinians were carried to hospitals as a result of the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The ministry stressed that many victims remain under the rubble and on the streets as the IOF prevents ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.

More Palestinians were martyred and injured in the Gaza Strip early on April 7 in a series of airstrikes by Israeli warplanes and artillery shelling. The attacks focused on the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

After the Israeli occupation targeted al-Istiqamah Mosque, in Rafah city, two Palestinians were injured as they were located in a home adjacent to it.

Moreover, Israeli occupation aircraft launched intensive airstrikes on the Zanna and Bani Suhaila areas east of Khan Younis, killing and injuring several Palestinians.

It is important to note that the Zanna area is where the Palestinian Resistance ambushed Israeli occupation soldiers yesterday after the latter claimed, months ago, to have cleared and destroyed Resistance capabilities there.

Israeli occupation warplanes also carried out multiple airstrikes on various areas west of Khan Younis city in southern Gaza Strip last night.

Furthermore in Khan Younis, the occupation forces targeted a group of civilians west of the Turkish slaughterhouse, resulting in casualties. This occurred concurrently with the Israeli occupation's artillery shelling of wide areas south and west of the city.
