Day 241 of Israeli aggression: 36,479 killed, 82,777 injured in Gaza
Palestinian rescue teams have discovered an additional 70 bodies amid the rubble of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, following the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces.
The number of Palestinians killed in Gaza due to the Israeli genocidal war ongoing since October 7 has now reached 36,479, in addition to 82,777 injuries, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced in its daily report today.
Additionally, it confirmed that Israeli occupation forces committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 40 and injuring 150 in 24 hours only.
The Ministry stressed that thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble on the streets, as the occupation forces continue to deliberately prevent ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.
Concurrently, local media outlets have reported that 21 Palestinians were killed since early Monday morning in various Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling in central and southern Gaza Strip, marking the 241st day of the ongoing aggression on the region.
In detail, Israeli artillery targeted the eastern areas of Jabalia town and refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
The Civil Defense in the Strip mentioned that they retrieved the bodies of 70 martyrs and a large number of wounded individuals as a result of the Israeli aggression on Jabalia.
The civil defense added that their teams "are not qualified to carry out fieldwork" during the war due to the significant shortage in equipment and machinery, indicating that "a large number" of martyrs' bodies are still under the rubble, as the teams are trying to reach them to identify their identities.
Furthermore, Israeli artillery conducted intense shelling on the neighborhoods of al-Zaytoun and Tal Al-Hawa, as well as the area around Gaza City, resulting in the killing of two civilians and the injury of five others.
Emergency and civil defense teams recovered the bodies of four martyrs from the Samouni and Mahani families following artillery bombardment on residential buildings in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Additionally, four civilians were killed in an Israeli shelling on a residential apartment in the al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. Israeli artillery also targeted the vicinity of a school sheltering forcibly displaced people under the supervision of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the same neighborhood.

Six civilians, including an infant, were also killed as Israeli warplanes targeted the Akel family's home in the al-Bureij refugee camp.
Israeli artillery also shelled civilian homes, northwest of the Nuseirat refugee camp, while a civilian was killed by Israeli naval gunfire on the beach in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli warplanes targeted the vicinity of the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis City.

Additionally, civilians were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Abu Obeid's family home in the Saudi neighborhood in western Rafah City. Meanwhile, Israeli naval vessels opened heavy fire on the beach off the coast of Rafah City, coinciding with artillery shelling and the release of illuminating bombs over the Brazil neighborhood to the south and airstrikes on the Ureibah area to the north.
'Israel' destroys 72% of residential buildings
A Palestinian official in Gaza reported on Sunday that approximately 50,000 housing units have been demolished by Israeli occupation forces during their nearly eight-month-long aggressive campaign in the northern region of the territory.
The chairman of the Emergency Committee for Northern Gaza municipalities emphasized that along with the destruction of homes, vital infrastructure such as sewage networks and roads has been extensively damaged across most municipalities in northern Gaza. Additionally, the official mentioned the destruction of 35 water wells, schools, and UNRWA facilities, highlighting the imminent risk of famine in the northern area of Gaza.
The official also announced that the Jabalia refugee camp and Beit Hanoun, both located in northern Gaza, have been designated as "disaster zones" due to the devastating destruction inflicted by Israeli aggressive war, which the official characterized as genocidal.
Abdallah al-Dardari, the UN assistant secretary-general and director of the UN Development Program's regional office for the Arab states, stated that the Israeli aggression has resulted in the complete or partial destruction of 72 percent of Gaza's residential buildings.
