The Palestinian Resistance is fiercely confronting the Israeli occupation and inflicting heavy losses among its ranks as the IOF continue their wide-scale invasion of the northern West Bank. During the early hours of Friday, "Israel" particularly concentrated its forces on Jenin and Nablus.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in occupied Palestine affirmed that the Palestinian Resistance confronted the Israeli occupation forces in al-Damj, Jenin, forcing them to call for reinforcement.

The IOF also besieged a Palestinian house in the al-Zababda village in southeastern Jenin and launched several grenades at it, while preventing Palestinian Red Crescent crews from coming to the aid of those trapped inside.

Our correspondent also reported that three Palestinians were killed in the same village after the IOF bombed their car. "Israel" is currently holding their bodies hostage.

The IOF additionally fired at several more Palestinian homes in al-Damj, as well as a mosque in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin. The Israeli occupation also launched an arrest campaign against Palestinians.

Our correspondent then reported that a curfew was declared in Jenin's Old Town and the village of Sibat.

As part of the ongoing confrontation, the al-Qassam Brigades' Jenin Brigade announced that it ambushed occupation soldiers in the eastern neighborhood with pre-prepared explosive devices, killing an Israeli soldier.

The Brigades added that its fighters detonated a pre-prepared explosive device against a D9 Israeli military bulldozer on the same axis. The Brigades' fighters also detonated explosive devices, targeting IOF infantry on the Al-Bayader axis, achieving confirmed injuries.

Meanwhile, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' Jenin Brigade confirmed that its fighters engaged in violent clashes with the occupation forces in the eastern neighborhood of the city.
