The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 44,382,  martyrs, with 105,142 injured since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry announced on Saturday.

In its daily report on the 421st day of the genocide, the Ministry noted that the Israeli occupation forces committed four massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip within the past 24 hours, resulting in 19 martyrs and 72 injured who were transported to hospitals.

The Israeli genocide is ongoing

Israeli occupation forces intensified their assaults on Gaza, targeting multiple areas with artillery shelling and airstrikes.

Israeli artillery fire struck the al-Zannah area, east of the city, resulting in casualties. An Israeli airstrike also hit a residential apartment on al-Shuhada Street in Gaza City, causing significant damage.

Invading Israeli forces demolished residential buildings, west of the Beit Lahia project, forcibly displacing families and exacerbating the already dire humanitarian crisis.

In Jabalia, an Israeli drone attack near Halima Al-Sa’dia School killed one Palestinian.

A Palestinian child was killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a home in the al-Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The Israeli military also targeted civilians in al-Bureij Camp in central Gaza, wounding multiple residents.

The death toll in Khan Younis rose to five after an Israeli drone struck a vehicle on Salah al-Din Street. The targeted vehicle belonged to World Central Kitchen, and among the deceased were three of its workers.

Palestinian sources reported a sudden incursion by Israeli armored vehicles into the Beit Lahia project, with tanks stationed near al-Hindi Pharmacy on al-Qassam Street.s

In the same area, invading Israeli forces carried out a massacre in the al-Najjar area, with numerous fatalities reported. A new atrocity was reported in the al-Shuja'iya neighborhood of Gaza City, where an Israeli attack killed at least ten Palestinians, with the death toll expected to rise.

Civil Defense crews in the Gaza Strip recovered, in an initial toll, 11 martyrs, including children, in addition to a number of wounded, some of whom are in critical condition, as a result of the occupation aircraft bombing Qizan al-Najjar, amid reports of people still missing.

The IOF targeted a vehicle in Qizan al-Najjar which belonged to personnel charged with securing aid entering Gaza. This marks the second such attack in less than a week in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The strike occurred near a gathering of citizens who were receiving humanitarian aid (flour) in the Qizan al-Najjar area.

In a related context, the Gaza Civil Defense mourned the loss of Mohammed Zuhair al-Shurbasi, one of its officers, killed in ongoing Israeli attacks on civilian homes in Jabalia. The ongoing genocide has so far claimed the lives of 88 civil defense personnel since its outset.

Northern Gaza suffers from severe famine

Residents of northern Gaza are facing a severe famine as Israeli forces continue to block the entry of humanitarian aid.

It is worth noting that medical teams and emergency responders in northern Gaza have become direct targets of Israeli strikes. As a result, the Civil Defense announced the cessation of services in northern Gaza due to a complete fuel shortage.

Central Gaza bakeries halt operations amid critical supply shortages: UN

On its part, the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) reported on Friday that all bakeries in central Gaza have ceased operations due to critical supply shortages amid the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip.

"All bakeries in central Gaza have shut down due to severe supply shortages," the WFP announced on X.

The organization emphasized that bread, a crucial staple for countless families and often their only accessible food, "is now slipping out of reach" for residents.

Warning of the grave consequences, the WFP stated that "famine remains a serious risk" in Gaza and called for the "safe and secure access of vital humanitarian aid into Gaza" to alleviate the dire situation.
