The Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas issued a statement on Wednesday condemning the occupation's targeting of civilians in Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as the attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Hamas described these actions as "a deliberate continuation of the crime of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people," adding that "the occupation's crimes are being carried out with the full support and protection of the US administration and certain Western capitals."

This comes as the Israeli occupation forces continue their genocide in the Gaza Strip against Palestinians for the 425th consecutive day, launching numerous airstrikes and artillery bombardments on civilians across the region, especially in the northern areas.

For the 61st consecutive day, northern Gaza remains under siege, facing intense air and artillery bombardment while being completely isolated from the rest of the Strip. Our correspondent reported that displaced families in northern Gaza endured a particularly difficult night in the Abu Tammam schools in Beit Lahia amid the continued siege and bombardment.
