The Gaza Health Ministry reported on day 659 of the Israeli genocide the martyrdom of 88 Palestinians, 12 of whose bodies were retrieved from beneath the rubble, alongside 374 injuries.
With the victims of the past 24 hours, the total death toll has risen to 59,821 Palestinians killed and 144,851 injured by the Israeli occupation forces since October 7, 2023.
Since March 18, when the ceasefire agreement collapsed, 8,657 Palestinians have been martyred and 32,810 injured.
The toll remains largely understated, as rescue crews are unable to reach impact sites, leaving many Palestinians, wounded and killed, stranded and in need of dire help amid the relentless Israeli aggression.
Meanwhile, massacres at the so-called "aid sites" resume unabated, with hospitals receiving the bodies of 11 starved aid seekers and more than 36 injuries over the past 24 hours. The cumulative death toll of the aid massacres has now reached 1,132 martyrs and 7,521 injuries.
Famine in Gaza kills 6 more Palestinians
As the Israeli-made famine continues to claim lives, six new deaths have been reported due to starvation and malnutrition, including two children, raising the total toll to 133, 87 of whom are children.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Gaza Government Media Office, urgent international intervention is needed to halt the worsening famine and end the Israeli blockade.
The Palestinian Red Crescent has warned of a rapid deterioration in living conditions. It described the situation as a war crime being carried out by the occupation authorities against over two million Palestinians, who are deprived of essential needs like food, water, and medicine amid widespread international silence.
The organization called for an immediate and lasting ceasefire, the unconditional reopening of all Gaza crossings, and secure access for humanitarian aid and relief workers. It emphasized the need to prioritize land-based aid over air drops, which have proven ineffective and hazardous for civilians.
It also condemned the international community’s inaction, stating that its silence amounts to complicity in a collective crime.
