A powerful explosion occurred during a rally held to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad in southwest Pakistan, according to reports from local Pakistani media.
Tragically, this explosion resulted in the loss of at least 34 lives and left dozens of others injured, as confirmed by local Pakistani officials and media outlets.

Saeed Mirwani, the chief executive officer of Shaheed Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital, verified the casualties, while City Station House Officer (SHO) Mohammad Javed Lehri sadly reported that a police officer was among those who lost their lives.
Mirwani further reported that the hospital had received 28 bodies, and an additional six had been taken to the Mastung district hospital.

Numerous injured individuals were also receiving medical attention at the hospital, with over 20 more referred to Quetta for further medical assistance. He emphasized that the process of transporting both the deceased and injured individuals was still ongoing.
Earlier statements from Mastung Assistant Commissioner (AC) Attahul Munim indicated that the explosion had claimed the lives of 15 individuals and left more than 50 people injured.
