The death toll from Saturday's explosion at Shahid Rajaee port in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, has climbed to 40, according to local authorities.
Hormozgan Province Governor Mohammad Ashouri provided the latest figures on Sunday, stating, "As of now, 40 people have died from injuries sustained in the explosion," as reported by the state-run IRIB news agency.
