Deylaman destroyer officially joins Iran Navy
Deylaman destroyer, in an official ceremony on Monday morning, joins the Iranian Navy north fleet.
During a ceremony on Monday morning, the Deylaman destroyer was announced as part of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy.
The ceremony saw the presence of the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, Abdolrahim Mousavi, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, the commander of the Iranian Navy, and Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.

During the ceremony, Rear Admiral Irani emphasized that the Deylaman destroyer, equipped with modern technology, has the potential to enhance the quality of troop training and facilitate effective rescue operations.
Part of the Mowj class destroyers, this vessel weighs 1500 tons and boasts numerous advantages over its predecessors. Admiral Irani recently stated that the Deylaman represents the latest iteration of the Jamaran destroyer, featuring upgraded equipment.
Iran's consistent technological advances
The Iranian military revealed a number of weapons in November, including the Fattah hypersonic missile, which was inspected by the leader of the Islamic Revolution Sayyed Ali Khamenei during a visit to an IRGC Aerospace Force exhibition.
Fattah 2 is a hypersonic cruise missile classified as part of the HGV (Hypersonic Glide Vehicle).

A number of attack and reconnaissance drones were also put on display during the exhibition, highlighting key advances in Iranian military production.
The event also highlighted a number of updated Iranian air defense systems, including the Mehran air defense system, which boasts an operational range of 320 km.
