Israeli occupation forces continued their relentless assault on the Gaza Strip during the Eid al-Adha holiday, killing dozens of Palestinians in multiple airstrikes that targeted aid distribution centers, tents sheltering displaced civilians, and residential homes.
The attacks occurred on the second day of Eid and mark the 610th day since the start of the Israeli war on October 7, 2023.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported Saturday that five people were killed and others injured when Israeli forces opened fire near an aid distribution center in western Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
In another strike west of Khan Younis, Israeli warplanes targeted tents sheltering displaced families, leaving 12 people killed 12 and more than 40 others wounded.
In western Gaza City, several civilians were killed and others injured when a residential house near the al-Shifa Medical Complex was struck by Israeli fire.
Meanwhile, in the central Gaza Strip, Israeli aircraft launched an airstrike on an apartment in al-Maghazi refugee camp, resulting in multiple injuries.
Israeli bombing kills 35 in Jabalia
In the north, a massacre unfolded in Jabalia al-Balad when Israeli warplanes bombed a residential home, killing 35 people on Friday afternoon. Following the attack, occupation forces forcibly displaced residents of the area from their homes.

On the first day of Eid al-Adha, 42 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across various parts of the Gaza Strip. Dozens more were wounded.
According to the latest figures issued by Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the death toll from "Israel’s" ongoing war has now reached 54,677, with 125,530 others wounded since October 7, 2023.
