A spokesperson for DPRK's Foreign Ministry emphasizes that the horrific massacre of the Baptist Hospital was carried out by "Israel" with the clear support of the United States.

A spokesperson for DPRK's Foreign Ministry stated that the United States cannot evade accountability for its complicity in "Israel's" crimes in the Gaza Strip.

The DPRK diplomat strongly denounced the Israeli attack on a "public health establishment," branding it as  "an unimaginable hideous war crime and unethical crime," in reference to the appalling massacre at al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza.

The spokesperson also emphasized that this criminal act was carried out with the clear support of the United States.

"What should not be overlooked is that Israel's such criminal act was openly committed under the undisguised patronage of the U.S.," he said as quoted by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

The diplomat pointed out that the United States provided "Israel" with significant quantities of weapons and deployed two carrier strike groups to the Middle East, "thus giving Israel a green light to massacre Palestinians without any worries."

Following the massacre at al-Ahli Hospital, the US engaged in "making absurd sophism that the incident seemed to be committed by other forces rather than Israel."

"This shows that the U.S. is an accomplice who connived at and fostered Israel's genocide," he said.

The diplomat pointed out that the United States vetoed the UN Security Council resolution related to humanitarian access in Gaza because it did not mention "Israel's" "right to self-defense." This action demonstrates that Washington is not concerned about Palestinian casualties as long as "Israel" aligns with its Middle East policy.

"The U.S., wrecker of global peace and strangler of justice, can never evade the blame for having connived at and fostered Israel's hideous war crime that ruthlessly killed Palestinians," the diplomat said.

The horrific massacre of the Baptist Hospital, also known as al-Ahli National Hospital, committed by "Israel" on Oct. 17 resulted in the killing of at least 500 people, primarily consisting of displaced families, patients, children, and women.

On October 21, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed in a statement that the Israeli occupation committed 550 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 3,353 members of these families since the beginning of the aggression. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported, on October 25, that the number of martyrs has risen to 6,546, including 2,704 children. The massacres are still ongoing 24/7, and considering “Israel’s” brutality, more are expected to take place.
