Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to embark on a second Gulf tour in August and will visit Germany in September.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to travel on a second Gulf tour in August and will visit Germany in September, according to CNN Turk, which cited sources.
According to the broadcaster, Erdogan's itinerary includes stops in Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and Iraq, and will also undertake an official visit to Germany in September, according to the sourc, not to mention the G20 meeting in India on September 9-10 and the UN General Assembly in the United States on September 18-19.
Erdogan visited Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates in July.
Several agreements were signed during the visits, including 13 agreements worth $50.7 billion between Turkey and the UAE.
As part of the tour, Turkish drone maker Baykar, best known for its Bayraktar combat drones, signed a partnership agreement and acquisition contracts with the Saudi Defense Ministry.
Earlier, a source within Erdogan's office informed Sputnik that there is a possibility of signing cooperation agreements, including one on energy, between Turkey and Russia during Putin's upcoming visit to Turkey.
Erdogan's office had confirmed that the visit was agreed upon during a phone conversation between the two leaders, though no specific date was mentioned.
The source stated that the likelihood of signing agreements during Putin's visit is quite high. Moreover, the partnership between Russia and Turkey is multifaceted, with fruitful collaboration occurring across various domains.
