Member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ihsan Ataya, noted that talks in Tehran between the Palestinian resistance and Iranian leadership "focused on enhancing resistance strategies and analyzing enemy vulnerabilities."

In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Ataya affirmed that "the axis of resistance will unite in one battle," explaining that the Palestinian resistance leadership in Tehran discussed "the potential enhancement of support from various fronts for Gaza." He also stressed the steadfast "Iranian support for the Palestinian resistance."

On the other hand, Ataya framed the ongoing meetings between the Islamic Jihad and Hamas movements within "the steadfast alliance between the two movements on both the operational and political fronts."

He also highlighted that Iranian leaders emphasized that "this battle is everyone's struggle, and efforts should be concentrated on defeating the enemy," further stating: "Our brothers in Iran have reaffirmed their support for all initiatives considered vital and appropriate by the resistance leadership in this battle."

Ataya concluded that "Every party within the resistance axis is determined to defeat the Israeli enemy and its allies," pledging that "the Al-Aqsa Flood battle will create a deterrence equation for the enemy alliance, surprising everyone."

Haniyeh in Tehran

Earlier on Tuesday, Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei welcomed the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Resistance, Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, and the accompanying delegation in Tehran, according to a statement on Sayyed Khamenei's website.

The Iranian leader praised the "unique resistance of the Palestinian forces" against the "crimes and brutalities of the Zionist regime carried out with the full support of the West," stressing that the Palestinians' historical patience honored Islam and made the Palestinian cause the first cause of the world.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to support the cause of Palestine and the oppressed people of Gaza," Sayyed Khamenei said during the meeting.

Haniyeh, on his part, said that the patience and resistance of the people of Gaza and the Resistance forces during the last six months has caused the Zionist enemy to not achieve any of its strategic goals in the Gaza war.

He also hailed the efforts of the Iranian government and nation in supporting Palestine and the people of Gaza.
