Exclusive: No ceasefire if occupation does not abide by PIJ conditions
The representative of the Islamic Jihad movement in Lebanon, Ihsan Ataya, assures Al Mayadeen that "the Jihad movement has established a clear equation, which is that the assassination of any resistance will be matched by bombing Tel Aviv."
The representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ) in Lebanon, Ihsan Ataya, said on Sunday that "the Israeli enemy has fallen into a state of confusion and can no longer bear the burden of missiles."
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Ataya added that "the mediations that are taking place seek to save the Zionist entity," stressing that "we have not accepted any mediation that does not confirm our right to defend our people."
Ataya stressed that "no ceasefire will take place if the occupation does not seriously abide by the conditions of the resistance and the PIJ," noting that "the PIJ has established a clear equation, which is that the assassination of any resistant will be met with the bombing of Tel Aviv."
Ataya believed that "the occupation is trying to split the Palestinian ranks," stressing that "the resistance and the Al-Quds Brigades, in particular, have proven in all rounds of conflict that they have the final say."
He pointed out that "the enemy's wrong calculations have plunged the occupation into an abyss that it does not know how to get out of," and said that "we all have to support our people anywhere in occupied Palestine."
Ataya added to Al Mayadeen that "The PIJ is at the forefront of confronting the Zionist enemy, and everyone who loves resistance around the world supports us."
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement mourned those who were martyred in the aggression that targeted a residential area in the Yabna camp in Rafah, including commander Khaled Mansour.
The Israeli occupation began on August 5 aggression on the Gaza Strip on Friday, and Al-Quds Brigades announced that Tayseer Al-Jaabari, a military commander in the northern Gaza Strip, had been martyred.
The Palestinian Resistance factions mourned the martyrs of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, stressing that the occupation shall bear all the consequences of the aggression.
Consequently, Al-Quds Brigades launched an operation in response to the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip, by launching salvoes of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
Earlier today, Palestinian sources revealed Sunday to Al Mayadeen that "the Islamic Jihad movement (PIJ) possesses a game-changing weapon."
The sources confirmed that this weapon is capable of seriously changing the course current battle, adding that "the resistance has not decided yet whether or not to use this game-changing weapon now or postpone it for a coming decisive battle."
It is worth noting that at least five people, most of them children, were martyred and 10 were injured as a result of an Israeli shelling that targeted Jabalia Camp yesterday, bringing the number of martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli aggression to 31, including six children, and the number of wounded reached 253.
