Four, including 2 children, die of malnutrition, dehydration in Gaza
This brings the total number of children killed from malnutrition in Gaza to 31 out of 34.
Four Palestinians died of famine on Sunday at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of Palestinians who have fallen victim to malnutrition and dehydration to 34.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation committed 8 massacres in the Strip in 24 hours only, killing 77 and injuring 108. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed since the Israeli aggression on Gaza started on October 7 to 32,782, in addition to 75,298 injuries.
It is noteworthy that numerous victims remain trapped under the rubble, presumed dead, as "Israel" prevents ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.
Sources reported to Palestinian news agency WAFA that two of the martyrs were children amid a shortage of medical supplies and humanitarian aid imposed by the Israeli occupation.
This brings the total number of deaths from malnutrition to 34 Palestinians, 31 of whom were children.
The US State Department said that famine "likely" exists in at least some regions of northern Gaza, with other areas at risk of plunging into starvation conditions, Reuters reported.
Washington's statements clearly contradict Israeli allegations that sufficient food and other aid are being allowed into Gaza. Last week, the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed that Israeli occupation forces had definitively barred the agency from making aid deliveries in northern Gaza.
The US warning closely follows a ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, which also cautioned that famine was becoming a reality in some areas in the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday, a panel of ICJ judges issued a unanimous ruling demanding "Israel" permit humanitarian assistance to the Strip.
17 Gaza clan members killed in IOF airstrike while awaiting aid
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Saturday evening that 17 Palestinians were martyred and 30 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted popular and tribal committees at Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City while they were awaiting to receive humanitarian aid to distribute it to families in the enclave.
The Higher Council for Palestinian Tribal Affairs in Gaza had confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces assassinated a number of its members while waiting to receive humanitarian aid, days ago, at the same roundabout.
The Council pointed out that the Israeli assassinations reflect the extent of the occupation's failure to strike Palestinian unity, stressing that clans in the Gaza Strip "work as one" and prohibit any communication with the Israeli occupation regardless of the cost and sacrifices.
In a different yet related context, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip pointed out that 107 patients are living in inhumane conditions without water, electricity, or medicine at the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, which the Israeli occupation forces have under siege since two weeks ago.
Israeli forces execute 13 Palestinian children near Al-Shifa: Euro-Med
Israeli occupation forces executed 13 Palestinian children in and near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City, a report released by the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor revealed.
The Human Rights Monitor said that the Israeli occupation's military killed the children in a span of a week, in a report it published on March 27.
These 13 children were killed by direct live fire, in a blatant violation of international law. Euro-Med said that the incident is "a war crime and a crime against humanity, and is part of the genocide that the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip."
"For over a week now, the Israeli army has been conducting systematic and horrifying military operations inside and around Al-Shifa Medical Complex. These crimes include extrajudicial executions and deliberate killings of Palestinian civilians," it explained.
The organization said that its field team had received identical testimonies about the killing and execution of Palestinian children, aged between 4 and 16.
