Gaza faces ongoing extermination, Indonesian Hospital overwhelmed
The situation in the Indonesian Hospital remains critical as medical personnel grapple with the overwhelming number of casualties amid ongoing Israeli carnage.
As the Israeli occupation’s siege on the North continues for the 16th consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces continued its campaign of extermination and genocide in the Beit Lahia and Jabalia Camp, intensifying airstrikes on homes and shelters while besieging hospitals, with the aim of displacing the remaining population in the region.
Dr. Marwan Sultan, director of the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, announced on October 20, 2024, that 73 martyrs have been brought to the facility, the majority of whom are women and children. He noted that many others have sustained severe injuries due to relentless bombardment in the Beit Lahiya project area overnight.
“Victims continue to arrive at the hospital as a result of the shelling,” he stated.

Dr. Sultan also reported the deaths of two patients who could not receive adequate medical care due to the occupation's siege of the hospital; their bodies were buried within the hospital premises.
He expressed the medical team's inability to cope with the overwhelming number of casualties, describing the situation as unprecedentedly dire, compounded by ongoing airstrikes, a blockade, shortages of medical supplies, and power outages.
Dr. Sultan urged for the protection of medical personnel, patients, and hospitals, calling on the Red Cross and international organizations to provide assistance and presence in the facilities.
"Israel" commits harrowing massacre in Beit Lahia
On Saturday evening, the Israeli occupation committed a horrific massacre by bombing several houses near al-Qassam Mosque in the Beit Lahia area in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 73 Palestinians, according to a preliminary toll announced by the Government Media Office in Gaza.
In addition to the high death toll of the massacre, dozens of people have been injured or remain missing, most of them women and children, as stated by the media office. This new massacre coincides with the Israeli occupation’s deliberate destruction of the healthcare system in the northern region of the sector, an area that remains home to around 400,000 residents.
The Government Media Office further reported that the Israeli occupation forces had threatened hospitals in the province, demanding that medical staff evacuate immediately. Furthermore, the occupation has blocked fuel deliveries to these hospitals and cut off communication and internet access in the area, worsening the humanitarian crisis.
Additionally, the media office held the occupation, along with the US administration, the UK, Germany, France, and other countries complicit in the ongoing genocide, fully responsible for the continuation of this crime—specifically, the ethnic cleansing and extermination in Jabalia Camp and the Beit Lahia project, as well as the continued massacres of civilians in northern Gaza.
This massacre is part of "Israel’s" ongoing crimes in Gaza, which include imposing siege, starvation, and total isolation on the northern province amid heavy aerial and artillery bombardments.
The Israeli genocide continues
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that a series of Israeli airstrikes targeted the al-Falouja area and surrounding neighborhoods in Jabalia.
Our correspondent also reported bombardment by Israeli helicopters west of Deir al-Balah, with additional strikes impacting civilians in the al-Jinina neighborhood of Rafah.

Concurrently, Israeli naval vessels have been firing shells at civilian homes in the northwest of Gaza. Furthermore, ongoing artillery shelling is reported around al-Aqad School in Khirbat al-‘Adas, north of Rafah, as the situation in the region remains critical.
