Gaza painful scenes reflect occupation's aims of massacre: Iranian FM
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian confirms that the current war in Gaza is not a war between Israelis and one faction, but one against all Palestinians.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced Thursday that he will begin a regional tour that will start in Iraq, pass through Syria, and then reach Lebanon, to hold consultative meetings with officials.
"The painful scenes in Gaza reflect the Zionist enemy's efforts to carry out a mass massacre of innocent civilians in Gaza, and the world is witnessing this," Amir-Abdollahian said, stressing that "everyone realizes that the main cause of the crises in West Asia is the Zionist entity's occupation of Palestine."
The Iranian minister considered that "the siege, cutting off water and electricity, and preventing the entry of medicines and foodstuffs indicate the enemy's intentions to carry out a massacre against the residents of Gaza," noting that "this war that we are witnessing today in Gaza is not a war of the Zionists with one faction, but a war with all Palestinians."
Earlier today, Amir-Abdollahian held a phone conversation with his Emirati counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which the two discussed the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
During the call, Amir-Abdollahian said Iran calls on Islamic and Arab countries to support the Palestinian people. On his part, Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said the UAE stresses the need for a unified voice to support civilians in Gaza.
Yesterday, and in another phone call, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi agreed with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) on the necessity of ending war crimes against occupied Palestine.
Iranian presidential political aide Mohammad Jamshidi posted on X that Raisi and MBS "agreed on the need to end war crimes against Palestine."
Jamshidi said that during the call, "Islamic unity was stressed and both believed the [Israeli occupation] regime's crimes and the US green light will cause destructive insecurity for the regime and backers."

This comes as Israeli occupation aircraft continue to launch hundreds of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip successively and violently, targeting towers, residential buildings, and civilian and service facilities, causing great destruction to property and infrastructure and killing thousands of Palestinians while injuring others.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in a new statistic that there had been 1,350 martyrs in the Gaza Strip. According to the Ministry, more than 6,000 injuries have occurred in the Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli aggression last Saturday.
