The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Monday that its Resistance fighters had targeted an Israeli force consisting of four soldiers with several anti-personnel projectiles, and detonated a minefield against an engineering unit that had infiltrated overnight east of al-Muntar Street, in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations in recent days

In addition, the brigades claimed responsibility for two operations carried out on Saturday, two days prior, after fighters returned from combat lines.

In the first operation, fighters targeted an Israeli force fortified inside a house with an anti-personnel projectile in the al-Qar’a al-Khamesa area of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

In the second operation, the brigades targeted two Israeli tanks with al-Yassin 105 projectiles, setting one of them ablaze, also in the Beit Lahia area.

The al-Qassam Brigades also reported two additional operations conducted four days ago. In the first, an Israeli Merkava tank was targeted with an al-Yassin 105 projectile in eastern al-Shujaiya.

In the second, on al-Nazzaz Street, also in al-Shujaiya, the Brigades targeted an Israeli force fortified inside a house with an anti-personnel projectile.

Following the attack, fighters observed the remains of several soldiers scattered at the scene. They then engaged in close combat with the remaining members of the force using light weapons and subsequently targeted a Merkava tank with another al-Yassin 105 projectile.

Al-Quds Brigades target Israeli forces with heavy mortar shells

Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, launched a barrage of heavy mortar shells targeting a grouping of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles around the al-Ma'arri School area, northeast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The brigades reported that a helicopter landed at the scene, accompanied by the deployment of smoke grenades, to evacuate wounded soldiers.

Al-Mujahideen Brigades down Israeli drone in al-Shujaiya

Separately, the al-Mujahideen Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, announced that its fighters had downed an Israeli EVOMAX 4T drone while it was conducting reconnaissance missions over the al-Shujaiya neighborhood.

The brigades released footage documenting the downed aircraft.
