The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, said that the continued Israeli bombardment and massacres against the Palestinian people in Gaza expose Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s false claims of reducing military operations against civilians.
According to the statement, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continue to commit horrific crimes and massacres across the Gaza Strip. Since this morning alone, the strikes have killed 70 Palestinians, including women and children, in what the movement described as a “bloody escalation” that reveals the deceit of the occupation government.
Hamas renewed its call on the international community and Arab and Islamic nations to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, urging urgent action to protect and aid the Palestinian people and to exert maximum pressure to end the ongoing genocide and starvation in Gaza.
The movement also called on free people around the world to continue and escalate their solidarity activities with the Palestinian people and to pressure the occupation to halt its crimes of genocide and collective punishment.
Trump: 'Israel' agrees to initial withdrawal pending Hamas reply
US President Donald Trump announced that "Israel" has agreed to an initial withdrawal line as part of ongoing negotiations toward a ceasefire in Gaza.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the proposal had been shared with Hamas, and that once confirmation is received, a ceasefire will take immediate effect, alongside a captive and prisoner exchange.
He added that the plan would “create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal,” bringing the conflict “close to the end of this 3,000-year catastrophe.”
