The Palestinian Resistance continues to confront the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza City, proving themselves as a formidable force despite the Israeli narrative of invincibility.
An al-Quds Brigades field commander told Al Mayadeen that the group is fighting a very complex battle in Gaza City, with the Israeli army making as much use of its past experiences as possible to reduce its losses on the battlefield.
"Our valiant fighters are our greatest asset at all times; through them, we combat the enemy and exploit any advance to surprise it with suitable weapons, and God has granted us success in numerous heroic operations, while the enemy, true to form, practices deception and misinformation regarding its human losses," the commander told Al Mayadeen.
He stated that the combat units deployed across the advance axes in Gaza City are ready and on high alert, continuously conducting maneuvers to avoid the dangers posed by booby-trapped Israeli vehicles. The field commander further noted that the IOF are advancing slowly and carefully and are using vehicles that cannot spot these combat units, which the Brigades are taking advantage of to launch attacks.
"The enemy's advance toward the heart of Gaza City is happening under the watchful eyes of our Resistance fighters, and we have tactics focused on high-value targets and inflicting large numbers of casualties upon troops," the al-Quds Brigades commander stated.
In a warning to IOF troops, the commander said, "We say to the enemy soldiers: we are not far from you, and you will see our faces whenever we decide to, because we are waging a harsh and complex war of attrition, and we understand your every move perfectly."
He emphasized that the Israeli army will not be safe in Gaza City, and even if it advances deep into the city, remaining there will cost it greatly, a cost that the Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir knows very well.
The al-Quds Brigades addressed the Palestinian people, through the field commander, stating, "Our message to our steadfast, struggling people is that we share your pain and are constantly working to make this aggression costly for the enemy; we kiss the head of every one of our people, and God willing, our collective patience will yield both dignity and a dawn that is near."

Palestinian Resistance factions have announced operations against Israeli occupation forces in Gaza City, stating that they targeted military vehicles and soldiers on the ground, in addition to engaging a helicopter in the northern part of the city.
The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, announced that it targeted a position of Israeli occupation soldiers and their vehicles on top of the al-Mintar hill, east of the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, in Gaza City, with mortar shells this morning.

Additionally, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced a joint operation with the Al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, where they targeted an Apache helicopter using a SAM-7 missile north of Gaza City, in an engagement that took place on September 25th.
On both the 30th of last month and the 1st of this month, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that it had targeted an enemy position inside the Musk al-Jarah resort northwest of Gaza City with two barrages of mortar shells.
IOF assaults continue
Despite a ceasefire in place and the Israeli government ordering a halt to strikes on Gaza, the Israeli occupation forces have sustained their barrages on the Strip, even escalating attacks on civilians, displaced individuals, and humanitarian service providers.
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, Israeli jets and artillery have been directly targeting humanitarian workers within Gaza City, opening fire on displaced residents after issuing evacuation orders and then pursuing them across multiple locations.
Northern districts of Gaza City experienced intense bombardment, including a strike on a home in the al-Mushahira area of the Tuffah neighborhood that killed four Palestinians and injured several others.
Additional airstrikes hit Al-Sabra Street in the southern al-Tuffah neighborhood, causing multiple casualties, while artillery fire targeted the northern al-Bureij refugee camp and central Khan Younis, and a child was injured by Israeli gunfire near the Hamad residential area north of Khan Younis.
In one of the deadliest recent strikes, an Israeli drone targeted a tent for displaced families in al-Mawasi, northwest of Khan Younis, killing two children and injuring eight others.
