Sources from the Palestinian Resistance informed Al Mayadeen that Hamas approved the ceasefire proposal put forth by US President Donald Trump.
Hamas and the other Palestinian Resistance factions have all agreed to the deal, with Trump being notified on live television.
This comes after days of mediated negotiations in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, in the presence of international delegations and Resistance representatives.
The agreement, according to the sources, will be officially signed on Thursday in Egypt.
Earlier today, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio handed Trump a note during his live press conference. Trump, in turn, declared that a deal in the Middle East was rapidly nearing, then hinted at a potential visit to the region.
Trump said, "Talks with Hamas are going well, and I might go to the Middle East next Sunday. All Islamic and Arab countries are involved in the process, something that has never happened before."
This came as mediated talks for a potential ceasefire in Gaza resumed after two years of genocide and starvation, with delegations representing the Palestinian Resistance, Arab states, and international mediators.
