Hamas condemns int'l silence on Kamal Adwan Hospital child massacre
Israeli forces reportedly bombed the hospital's oxygen station, resulting in the deaths of several children.
Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas issued a strong condemnation on Friday of the international community's silence over Israeli attacks on Gaza, calling on Muslim and Arab nations to move beyond statements of condemnation and take direct action.
In its statement, Hamas said the international community bears political and moral responsibility for ongoing war crimes by the Israeli Occupation Force (IOF) against Palestinians in Gaza.
Hamas' statement follows an Israeli raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital, the last operational medical facility in Beit Lahia, near the heavily bombarded Jabalia area.
According to Palestinian reports, the IOF bombed the hospital's oxygen station, resulting in the deaths of several children.
Quds News Network reported that dozens of people were detained during an Israeli raid on the hospital, with detainees subjected to abuse and forced to disrobe before being gathered in an open area.
The hospital's medical staff, wounded patients, displaced families, and media activists were reportedly taken to an unknown location.

Calling the attack a "war crime and a blatant violation of international law," Hamas claimed the raid occurred just hours after Israeli forces imposed a siege on the facility, preventing aid from reaching the area.
The movement said the escalation reflects "Israel's" broader genocidal campaign, which it aims to "cleanse" the northern Gaza Strip of Palestinians, with active support from the US administration.
'General Plan' Enacted
The strike and raid on the hospital comes amid "Israel's" "Generals' Plan" in northern Gaza, launched earlier this month.
According to Hamas, the plan includes isolating large sections of Gaza, halting humanitarian aid, and declaring areas as closed military zones, with residents labeled as combatants and subject to targeting.
The campaign has reportedly led to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians and has decimated residential areas.
Hamas urged Muslim and Arab nations to take a stronger stand, warning that the ongoing attacks would erode global principles of human rights and laws.
On October 16, Hamas stated that despite the escalation, "Israel's" campaign was "doomed to failure" and would collapse against the "steadfastness and courage" of the Palestinian people.
